Awesometown II
In 2012, Mac was privately commissioned to create a sequel to his Awesometown holographic painting, but the client realized several weeks later that, despite approving the concept of the piece, they wanted a sequel to a different painting from the same series of work. Awesometown II was shelved for several months while Mac completed the new commission.
The following year, we moved to Ohio and Mac completed the painting for the Akron Art Prize, where it was displayed at the Red Door Gallery. Mac later donated Awesometown II to the Boys & Girls Club of the Western Reserve, where it was sold at their annual fundraising auction.
