CREATIVE AGENCY

Art x Love is an interdisciplinary arts organization that was founded by Allyse and Mac Love in 2015. We leverage 40 years of combined experience as creative, branding, and marketing professionals to produce art projects that achieve and positive and enduring impact.

 

ALLYSE LOVE

Owner, Co-Founder & Chief Operator

Allyse is from Akron, has a BA in Communication from Denison University, and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western University. She is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB Program and serves on the board of Torchbearers and the Akron Marathon. Allyse pays artists.

MAC LOVE

Co-Founder, Chief Catalyst, & Lead Artist

Mac was born in New York City, grew up in Belgium, has BFA in Synaesthesis from Skidmore College, and an MFA from the Edinburgh College of Art. Mac is president of Leadership Akron Class 38, and serves on the board of Akron Roundtable and on the Akron Bicentennial Commission. Mac makes stuff.

We serve a wide range of clients both near and far.

Our method

We take an iterative approach to each project, planning clearly defined objectives, activities, and deliverables for each phase of work. This allows us to assess our progress, optimize our approach, and achieve the greatest return on investment.

  • We love research and community engagement. Mining archives, category audits, conducting interviews, and producing environmental assessments (GIS) anchor our projects in strategic and creative intelligence.

  • We collaborate, develop, and refine ideas to make the most of each opportunity. This includes exploring different material applications, production methods, and providing our clients with final budgets and scheduling to ensure everything is in scope.

  • Producing outstanding art and creative experiences is our lifeblood. We do the hard things on purpose and the easy things with joy, because we believe in power of this work to positively and meaningfully change people’s lives.
