Team Fran Fundraiser

In September 2025, we hosted Team Fran for their campaign fundraiser in advance of October’s election. School board candidates Karmaya Kelly, Nathan Jarosz, Gregory Harrison, and Phil Montgomery were all in attendance and spoke about their experience, values, and vision for Akron Public Schools. Fran Wilson (Akron City Council - Ward 1) and Rev. Raymond Green Jr. (The Freedom BLOC) also presided over the occasion, speaking to key issues across our community and how everyone is working to effect meaningful change.

All four Akron Public School Board candidates won election.
