King of Diamonds - Coming Home

Mac created King of Diamonds in 2016 as a gift for the Diamond Deli when the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA Championship. After 9 years of being on display at Akron’s famous sandwich shop, the painting had started to fade and grease had built up on the surface. Mac brought King of Diamonds back to our studio, cleaned it, restored it, and finished it with an anti-graffiti coating.

King of Diamonds holds a special place in our hearts. It was one of the first pieces Mac created after we bought our house in Akron. A lot gets made of where Lebron James plays basketball, but as everyone in Akron knows – this is and will always be home.
