Chisholm Crest

Mac was commissioned to paint an update of the Scottish-English Chisholm family crest as a family gift for a friend. The crest reads Feros Ferio, which translates to “I am fierce with the fierce.” The new crest was inspired by Game of Thrones, a popular fantasy series of books and cable television show. The painting features a lush foundation of ferns, which are an ancient symbol of good luck and eternal youth.
