Welcome Flag

In the spring of 2025, ART x LOVE was engaged by Ohio Means Jobs of Summit County to create a mural that reflected their values, vision, and mission to coincide with the opening of their newly renovated facility.

We worked with Ohio Means Jobs and the Summit County Land Bank to ensure all aspects of the mural (i.e. size, colors, themes, finish, etc.) were in alignment with their short-and-long-term needs. We explored, developed, and refined a range of concepts to get to a final vision optimized to achieve a meaningful impact for all visitors and staff.

Mac painted the mural in 5 days over a span of two weeks, and finished it with a marine-grade anti-graffiti coating. Welcome Flag features 50 icons inspired by Ohio Means Jobs’ mission, vision, and values as a workforce resource center for individuals and businesses. The flag is Love’s interpretation of the American Flag, Ohio’s state flag, and our journey through life and work. Each symbol represents a different perspective, energy, and system of support to help people achieve their goals.
