TomTod Camp Tour

One of the perks of being a free art gallery is that regional organizations, schools, and groups can schedule tours to explore and discuss local artist’s work. TomTod Ideas brought their Middle School campers to our studio in June, 2025, and engaged them in lively exercises.

Campers were encouraged to sit in front of their favorite piece of art and to focus on it for several minutes. They were then asked to share what they observed and why they liked their piece. At the end of the tour, our visitors made their mark on our Reclaiming Akron mural, which we were collaboratively restoring. It has since been reinstalled at Akron City Hall.
