JAMGL History Wall

In 2023, Art x Love was hired by Junior Achievement of Michigan Great Lakes (JAMGL) to produce the history wall for their board room. We drove to Grand Rapids and spent two days mining their archives to digitize photographs, videos, awards, and documents for use in the history wall display. We developed a series of concepts for the narrative flow of the wall, and worked with JAMGL across iterative stages to refine the copy, imagery, and layout for the final display.

The completed JAMGL history wall features a floor-to-ceiling vinyl wrap of digitally optimized archival photographs, with 52 text panels and 57 image panels, comprising a total of more than 1,300 parts. The story of Junior Achievement is displayed from left to right across two walls, with light blue text panels for Junior Achievement’s global milestones, and dark blue text panels for JAMGL’s local milestones.

The JAMGL History Wall is an impactful and educational resource that is designed to guide and inspire visitors. With space left for future milestones, we look forward to seeing this wall grow in the years to come.
