Coming Home
In May of 2017, Bone Thugs’N Harmony released the video for their new single Coming Home. The video features Mac’s Believeland chalk murals under the Main Avenue bridge, in Cleveland’s Flats East Bank. “Before the video was released, my wife’s friends made fun of me for having ‘an irrational love of Ohio,’” says Mac. “After the video they said, ‘Well, I guess he’s official now.’”
Mac started developing the “Believeland” chalk mural district in 2014. Perception of this dark and frequently vandalized corridor transformed from a foreboding area to an iconic tourist site. Bone Thugs’N Harmony are one of several Cleveland arts and culture icons to use the site for b-roll in their music and promotional videos.
