Akron Cooperative Farms

Following completion of Art x Love’s @PLAY project, the City of Akron decided to transform the ballfields at Sammis Park into a community farm and garden. Art x Love was engaged by Akron Cooperative Farms to assist with the transformation of the space by providing creative consultation, and helping volunteers create a strong visual identity for the space.

Art x Love helped transcribe Akron Cooperative Farm’s brand assets into mural designs that could be painted in by volunteers and residents.

Today, Akron Cooperative Farms is a thriving gathering space that proudly reflects the community’s values and identity, while also supporting the health, nutrition, and wellbeing of all.
