Hep Tones
Art x Love partnered with the Downtown Akron Partnership (DAP) to put together HEP TONES, a special 1-week exhibition featuring the exquisite art of KEIKO AGENA and JOHN CABRERA, of Gilmore Girls TV show fame, as part of 2025’s Smells Like Snow Coffee Festival in downtown Akron.
Allyse and Mac Love worked with the artists and DAP to coordinate all aspects of the show, including shipping and framing of the artwork, design of all marketing graphics and social media content, coordinating timed-entry tickets sales, e-commerce setup, hanging of the show, catering, and run-of-show for the Opening Reception.
As final preparations were made for the exhibition, Keiko and John submitted their artist statements, which we also had them audio record so that we could share their work and creative vision with others. 240 people RSVP’d for the opening reception, and those in attendance were treated to insights from John while Keiko attended virtually, both delighting in the experience with enthusiastic attendees.
